We partnered with CoLab and Addepar to produce the animation for the launch of their trading application. The goal was to create a clear, engaging video that would showcase how Addepar empowers users to trade, rebalance, and manage portfolios with precision, insight, and ease. From the outset, we focused on translating a complex fintech product into visuals that are attractive, intuitive, and professional.
Addepar wanted the app’s features to feel approachable yet powerful. We needed to highlight its core capabilities—like portfolio analytics, order initiation, and trading workflows—while making the animation clean, informative, and easy to follow. The video was meant to build trust among financial professionals, showing that Addepar is not just robust under the hood but also user-friendly and forward-thinking.
Our work covered the full animation pipeline. That included interpreting the product UI, modeling elements necessary to represent the trading app, designing motion that guides the viewer through the functionalities, crafting transitions, compositing, and enduring polish. We worked closely with CoLab and Addepar to ensure brand consistency and technical accuracy, delivering a final animated video ready for launch.
The final video gave Addepar a strong storytelling asset that elevated their product’s launch. It turned complex features into clear visual narratives, helping users and stakeholders understand what the trading app offers at a glance. The animation reinforced Addepar’s credibility in the fintech space, supported their marketing rollout, and helped them communicate with more clarity and impact — a tool they continue to use in outreach, demos, and campaigns.
